Hello, new and old friends...
It has been suggested several times, by
friends on Facebook, that I write a blog-So, I am here to blog. Most of these
suggestions came after I posted a Sunday dinner menu or restaurant review. I
had a blog for a couple months, some years back, and then my career grew and my
kids needed me and I had a house and family to take care of, and writing went
by the wayside. I still have the demanding career, but my life has changed in
many ways over the last 18 months, and I decided that I would make the time to
get back to blogging.
I love food and wine, as you all know. If I
had my way, I’d still be cooking professionally and still be working in the
restaurant business or involved in event planning. However, while food is a big
part of me, I can’t write about just one thing. Therefore, this blog is going
to be heavy on food and vino, but will also cover everything else-jobs,
parenting, dogs, friends, life, movies, inanity... Whatever possesses me to put
the fingers to the keyboard. I’ll be posting recipes, pictures, cooking
extravaganza menus, and stories. I’m open to suggestion and will gladly help
anyone with cooking questions or new recipes of their own. I’ll also offer up
opinions on anything, as we all know I have no shortage of opinions.

Coming up this weekend... RibFest 2012, in
my backyard. Two types of ribs are on the agenda. Something tells me there will
be wine, and sides. And more wine.
